Learning Mats: Match, Trace & Write the Alphabet

Learning Mats: Match, Trace & Write the Alphabet gives students practice with early reading skills and identifying the letters of the alphabet. Each mat features 1 letter of the alphabet on each side - students find the picture card that corresponds to that letter, write the letter (upper and lowercase), and write the word beginning with the featured letter. This kit will help students practice skills such as naming the letters of the alphabet; recognizing and matching upper to lowercase letters; writing uppercase and lowercase letters; identifying beginning consonant sounds, identifying short and long-vowel sounds; and more. Grades PreK-1.
